The American Cancer Society is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, the ACS has 12 chartered Divisions, more than 900 local offices nationwide, and a presence in more than 5,100 communities.
Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kingsport
Founded in 1950, the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kingsport is a youth centered organization committed to meeting the needs of children in the Kingsport community. In addition to the Eastman Unit and Teen Center the Club operates four units, three are located in Kingsport public housing communities-Holly Hills Unit, Cloud Unit and Riverview Unit and our newest addition, Hawkins County Unit is located in the city of Rogersville.

The websites offer a personal and private space to communicate and show support, saving time and emotional energy when health matters most. Contact-Concern of Northeast, TN, Inc.
Contact-Concern is a Christian-based telephone helpline, staffed by trained volunteers. All calls are free and confidential. Contact-Concern’s helpline volunteers provide crisis intervention, information and referral services, reassurance calls, and answering services for several area agencies. Contact-Concern’s volunteers are caring listeners for those callers who may need someone to just listen to their special situation.
Haven of Rest Rescue Mission of Bristol
The mission of the Haven of Rest is to help people meet their needs for food, shelter, clothing, a new start, forgiveness, peace, stability, love, freedom from a life controlling problem in a Christian environment.
Kingsport Diabetes Association
Kingsport Diabetes Association (KDA) is a non-profit organization serving the Tri-Cities Region of East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. It was chartered in 1981 to help diabetic patients, their family and friends to deal with the serious disease of diabetes.
Mission Aviation Fellowship
Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) was founded in 1945 by a group of WWII pilots who had a vision for how aviation could be used to help spread the Gospel. MAF enables and maximizes evangelism and church nurture, medical assistance, disaster response, and community development, as well as the training and development of indigenous people. Using aviation and technology, MAF shares the love of Jesus Christ by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of isolated people in 42 countries throughout Asia, Africa, Eurasia, and Latin America.

Scott County Humane Society
The mission of the Scott County Humane Society is to prevent cruelty to animals, relieve suffering among animals, offer spay/neuter education, and cooperate and assist the enforcement of existing ordinances and statutes in the Commonwealth of Virginia and Scott County.
Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee
Second Harvest Food Bank is a nonprofit organization that has been serving eight counties in Northeast Tennessee - Carter, Greene, Hancock, Hawkins, Johnson, Sullivan, Unicoi and Washington - with emergency food for distribution since 1986. Second Harvest secures food from local and national manufacturers, grocers and restaurants and then redistributes it to 200 food pantries, soup kitchens, children’s programs and other nonprofit charities that work to feed the hungry across the region.
St. Jude Tri-Cities Affiliate
St. Jude is unlike any other pediatric treatment and research facility. Discoveries made here have completely changed how the world treats children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. With research and patient care under one roof, St. Jude is where some of today's most gifted researchers are able to do science more quickly.
Susan G. Komen Tri-Cities
The Tri-Cities Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is dedicated to combating breast cancer at every front. Up to 75 percent of the Affiliate’s net income goes toward funding grants to local hospitals and community organizations that provide breast health education and breast cancer screening and treatment programs for medically underserved women. The remaining net income (a minimum of 25 percent) supports the national Komen Grants Program, which funds groundbreaking breast cancer research, meritorious awards and educational and scientific programs around the world.
The Horse Affect
The Horse Affect is a non-profit organization created to ensure that everyone who would benefit from equine assisted activities has access to them and to further research in the area. Unfortunately, locally many people, especially children, do not have insurance or other resources to be able to access health services.
The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
The East Tennessee Branch of JDRF was founded in 1982 and continues to provide information and support to East Tennessee residents affected with diabetes. JDRF is dedicated to raising funds for research, and in East Tennessee we are doing this through three highly successful Walks and the annual Dream Gala. Our goal is to raise $1 million in East Tennessee alone this year.
Vine and Branches Ministries
Serving the youth, children, and their families in Piedras Negras, Mexico, Vine and Branches Ministries focus is specifically on establishing and implementing Outreach Programs and Educational opportunities, meeting a physical need, which serves as a doorway to present the salvation of Jesus Christ and experience the power of developing a personal relationship with Him.
Young Life Kingsport
Ministry to high school teens in the Kingsport area. Also includes Young Lives which is a ministry to pregnant teens and teen moms and WYLdlife which is a ministry to middle school kids.
